The Glide control sets the time, in ms (milliseconds), that the 808 takes to slide from one note to another.
At 0 ms, Glide is disabled, with no transition between notes. As the value increases, the transition time also increases, creating a longer and more noticeable slide.
Use Glide to control the duration of the pitch movement between notes and create the characteristic 808 slides.
The Drive control adds saturation and harmonic distortion to the 808 signal, increasing its presence and character.
As Drive is increased, the sound gains more harmonics, texture, and intensity, making the 808 more aggressive and prominent in the mix.
Use Drive to find the balance between a cleaner, more defined 808 and a more saturated, full-bodied, and aggressive sound.

Lithium 808 is an 808 VST/AU instrument created in partnership between Pedro Lotto and Pro Audio Elements. It ships with 29 exclusive presets from Pedro himself, plus Gain, Glide, Drive and precise amplitude controls — the low-end from his records, ready for your DAW.
The sounds come straight from the sessions of a multi-platinum producer , this is no generic bank. Glide creates the sliding 808 notes of modern trap, and Drive runs through an internal distortion circuit developed by Pro Audio Elements specifically for 808s.
